Question: Why is my Speech Exec not installing .NET on my Computer?

Answer: SpeechExec requires that you have Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework installed, under Windows Vista it requires Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework. If it is not present on your system, it will be installed automatically during SpeechExec installation from the CD.
Though .NET is supplied on the CD it doesn’t always install from the CD correctly. In these cases it is best to download it from the Microsoft site.
For XP, use this link for .Net 2.0 sp2
