The Philips LAN Docking Station transfers dictations via the LAN (Local Area Network) connection directly from the Digital Pocket Memo mobile device to the target dictation file server. The option to encrypy files ensures that dictations are sent securely over the company network or through an FTP site.

The DPM LAN Docking Station does not need to be connected to a PC, and requiresno software per se” and can be used with minimum user training.
