Question: I’ve installed the Philips SpeechExec Pro Dictate & Transcribe software on my PC, however; it will not open. What’s the deal?
Answer: Currently, Philips has a known issue if you’re running Trend Micro anti-virus software, where Trend Micro is blocking SpeechExec from opening.

The following folders need to be added to the exclusion list in Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security.

(Security Settings > Desktops > Configure > Antivirus/Anti-Spyware)
%APPDATA%Philips Speech
%TEMP%SpeechExec
%TEMP%SpeechExecTempAttachments
%ProgramFiles%Philips Speech
The following executables need to be included in the Approved Programs list in Trend Micro

Worry Free Business Security (Security Settings > Desktops > Configure >Behavior Monitoring)
%ProgramFiles%Philips SpeechSpeechExec Pro DictateSEPDict.exe

Also, this line if you are using the Philips SpeechExec Pro Dictate Software

%ProgramFiles%Philips SpeechSpeechExec Pro DictateSEPDict.exe
