It may be that theScripting” engine(s) are not currently running or registered to run on this PC. Attempt to register the script engine(s) as follows…(Admin rights required !)
- ClickStart” > Run” and type the following .. regsvr32 scrrun.dll
- ClickOK”..you should receive a message that the..dll was successfully registered..”
- ClickStart” > Run” and type the following .. regsvr32 vbscript.dll
- ClickOK”..you should receive a message that the..dll was successfully registered..”
Now try installing the SpeechExec application again. There are two possible outcomes..
- The installation is successful and no further action is required.
- The installation fails but you receive a more detailed 1720 error which can help in the resolution of the problem.
