Yes, you can set the Philips SpeechExec Pro software to not open the UI as part of the download process but you need to make sure the SEP Dictate is running in the background for auto-downloading to take place. Follow the instructions below to program the software to run in the background but not open the UI.
STEP 1: Automatically Start SpeechExec
1. In this step we are going to program the Philips software to automatically open and run in the background during system start up. To do so, go to: Settings > Worklist > Startup
2. Select [Start SpeechExec in Hidden Mode].
STEP 2: Disable Worklist
1. In this step we are going to tell the Philips software to not open the Worklist when a Digital Pocket Memo is connected. To do so, go to: Settings > Worklist > Visibility
2. Uncheck [Show Worklist when connecting the DPM].
This will simply display a download confirmation window rather than showing the SEP software.
