Scenario: I created 3 different files using the Philips® Voice Recorder app on my smartphone, and I want to send them to my Mac®, via the Philips Dictation Hub. They are formatted as WAV, DSS and MP3 files. When I tested these dictations in Philips SpeechExec for Mac, though, none of them can be used.
Question: Is there any SpeechExec for Mac support for files created via the Philips iPhone® app and sent through the Dictation Hub?
Answer: Yes, users have the option to select Mac OS X® as the target platform for Dictation Hub accounts. This will convert your dictations to DS2 format when you send them. This file format can be played back with the Philips SpeechExec for Mac application.
This option is available in the Philips Partner Portal. If you have an existing Dictation Hub account, select Change subscriber’s personal data and choose the “Mac” option under Target Platform. If you are new to the Dictation Hub, select Activate a new subscriber, and then choose the same option.
If you don’t have access to the Philips Partner Portal, please contact your Philips reseller.
