There may be a situation in which you try to install a program and the installation wizard gives you the following error: ‘Font Arial does not support style regular’.>  This can happen when your computer either cannot find the font the installation wizard needs or the font is corrupted.>  A good way to test this is to go to Notepad, then go to Format > Font…>  Look for the font in question.>  In this case: ‘Arial’.>  If you cannot find the font in question (or if it does not work), this is a good sign that you are on the correct path.

Note:  I have only seen this problem with the Arial font so I use that as the example.

Fix: You need to copy the font from a computer that does not have the problem to the computer that does have the problem.>  On the working computer, do a search for ‘fonts’.>  Locate the ‘font name’.ttf.>  Example: ‘arial.ttf’. Copy it.>  Go to the computer that is exhibiting the error and copy that font to the directory ‘c:windowsfonts’.>  Once this is done you should be able to check Notepad and see choices (up to 4) for the Arial font.>  Bonus: You will now be able to install your Olympus DSS Player Pro R5 application.
