How do I disable the erase button on an Olymus DS-3400 Digital Voice Recorder?

You can do this through the device settings of the R5 Dication Module.

Go to Device > Device Settings.  Under the Administrative Settings you see a check box to deactivate the erase button.  Check the box and click ‘update this page only’.

Your erase button is disabled now.
