Question: In the documentation for the NEW Olympus DM-4, several times it mentions DAISY.
What is DAISY?
DAISY is an acronym for Digital Accessible Information System. It is a means of creating digital talking books for people who wish to hear-and-navigate written material presented in an audible format. Many such listeners have “print disabilities,” including blindness, impaired vision, dyslexia, or other issues.
When readers use DAISY, they get a talking book format with sequential and hierarchical navigation structures, as well as marked-up text synchronized with audio.
