How to differentiate whether you have USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 Ports on your PC
Look closely at the USB Ports on the computer. If you’re icon displays an ‘SS’ next to the universal USB icon, it’s a SuperSpeed USB 3.0. If there isn’t an ‘SS’ next to the icon, it’s likely a USB 2.0.
